What matters to you?

Start with the costs and journeys you would actually face, then compare cities against your priorities. GooferPlaces shows dated public evidence and a score that changes with your weights. It cannot choose your job, neighbourhood or immigration route. Verify decisive housing, income and service questions before using a shortlist to plan a move.

Worked result with the current balanced priorities: San Pawl il-Bahar scores 86.2 points. This is the same preference score shown by the tool below; changing weights changes the result.

Must-haves & your comparison

Preferences influence fit. Tick a must-have only if it is essential. Proven failures are excluded; missing evidence stays visibly unverified.

Climate limits are annual means, not forecasts. Exact home type, schools, forest distances and other unsupported needs cannot be verified.

Questions about choosing where to live

Where should I move?

Start with the costs and journeys you would actually face, then compare cities against your priorities. GooferPlaces shows dated public evidence and a score that changes with your weights. It cannot choose your job, neighbourhood or immigration route. Verify decisive housing, income and service questions before using a shortlist to plan a move.

Does the highest score mean the best city?

The highest score means the strongest fit to the current weights among the cities with usable evidence. It is not a universal quality rating or a prediction of your experience. Change your priorities and inspect the explanation: confidence and missing data affect the result, while a personal budget still needs your own figures.

How do I use the relocation comparison?

Choose the factors that matter to your move, set their relative importance and inspect the shortlist. Open each city’s evidence to read the source, date and geographic scope. Compare actual housing and your own take-home income before deciding. Missing measurements remain missing, and national context should not be treated as local salary or neighbourhood conditions.

Explanation updated 4 October 2026. The evidence keeps its original reference dates.
