Overview
GooferPlaces uses two distinct forms of analytics: optional Google Analytics 4 (GA4), and privacy-focused first-party operational analytics delivered through Cloudflare. The website also runs on Cloudflare infrastructure, which processes requests to deliver and protect the service.
We do not intentionally send names, email addresses, telephone numbers, account identifiers, user_id values or other directly identifying information to Google Analytics.
Google Analytics 4
If you accept analytics cookies, we load GA4 using measurement ID G-NR0FCYEEM7. We use it to understand aggregate traffic, page use and site performance so we can improve content and product decisions.
Information GA4 may collect
- Pages viewed and the page title.
- Approximate location derived by Google from network information.
- Browser, device, operating-system and language information.
- Referring site, session information and interaction timestamps.
- Random identifiers stored in
_gacookies after consent.
We configure GA4 with advertising storage, advertising user data and ad personalization denied. Google Signals and advertising-personalization signals are disabled. Page URLs sent by our implementation exclude query strings and fragments to reduce the risk of accidental personal-data collection.
Google acts as a service provider for this analytics processing and may process data on infrastructure outside your country. Learn more in Google’s privacy policy.
Cloudflare and first-party analytics
Cloudflare provides hosting, security, content delivery, request metrics and Worker observability for GooferPlaces. Like any hosting and security provider, Cloudflare processes technical request information such as IP addresses, timestamps, requested URLs, response status, device or browser headers and security signals as needed to deliver and protect the website.
Separately, our own first-party analytics script sends limited events to analytics.gooferplaces.com. It records the event type, page path, link or action label, referring hostname, page language, a random per-tab session value and numeric performance values. The script does not use cookies and does not send the visitor’s IP address or user-agent string in its event body. The receiving Cloudflare Worker is designed not to store request identifiers, IP addresses, cookies or user-agent strings in its custom analytics record.
We use these first-party events for aggregate product and performance measurement, including page views, ranking-tool use and outbound-link activity. They are treated as essential, privacy-minimised operational analytics and remain active regardless of the optional GA4 choice.
Retention
GA4 user-level and event-level analytics data is retained for no longer than 14 months under our intended property policy, after which Google deletes it according to its retention process. Google’s standard aggregated reports may remain available beyond the user-level retention period. We periodically review the GA4 property setting to keep it at or below this limit.
First-party event records stored in Cloudflare Workers Logs are retained for up to 7 days depending on the Cloudflare plan. If Workers Analytics Engine is enabled, its event data is retained for up to 3 months. Cloudflare’s aggregate Worker request metrics may be available for up to 3 months. Security and operational records may have different short retention periods where necessary to investigate abuse or service incidents.
Your consent choices
On your first visit, you can accept or reject Google Analytics. We save the choice in your browser’s local storage so we can remember it; this preference is not used for tracking.
Select at the bottom of any page to review, change or withdraw consent. Withdrawing consent immediately changes the GA4 consent state to denied and removes accessible GooferPlaces GA cookies from the current domain. It does not delete analytics already processed by Google. You can also clear this site’s browser data to remove the saved preference.
Rejecting or withdrawing GA4 consent does not restrict access to GooferPlaces.

For questions about this notice or a privacy request, use the contact method published by the GooferPlaces operator. Because this site currently has no account system, we may not be able to identify GA4 records as belonging to a particular visitor without a relevant browser identifier.
